Hi! It's nice to meet you.
MeekerMedia is a Creative Communication and Design company in Lexington, Kentucky that has over 7 years of experience in web development, photography, 3-dimensional design, and media production. MeekerMedia, LLC is comprised of: Justin Meeker, Jessica Meeker and, on most days, Jason Meeker.
MeekerMedia, LLC specializes in media production, graphic design, and web production for non-profits, churches and ministries. We have experience with design, live production, set design, video editing, and providing training courses for Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, InDesign and After effects for ministries organizations and churches.
Don't think of us as just another a group of tech nerds or designers;
think of us as communication wizards (it sounds cooler).
Justin
This is the guy you want on your team in a technical bind. With a B.A. in Media Communication from Asbury University, he not only knows what he's doing, but why.
Justin has more than 7 years of professional production experience ranging from studio work to live video. He is also a graduate of The Recording Workshop in Ohio where he studied how to make things sound awesome (also known as audio and music production).
He has taught classes on the collegiate level in the areas of video production, web development, graphic design, instructional design and 3D modeling. He's kind of a renaissance man when it comes to technology.
Jes
If she weren't taking photos or designing, she'd probably be a hippie. Seriously. Well, the outdoorsy kind - not the drug kind.
Jes's expertise is in creating for physical mediums. She can knock out a mean design in Illustrator or Photoshop, but she'd much rather be working with power tools or a paintbrush.
She's really the creative genius of the team. Jes has a B.A. in Fine Arts from Asbury University and has formal training to work within a truck-load of mediums.
Her speciality is creating something from nothing. Whether it's designing and constructing sets for large productions or sculpting massive stone hands out of alabaster in 24 hours (seriously, happened once), she puts the rest of us to shame.
Jason
Okay. So he's not technically an official part of the Meeker Media team, but his last name is Meeker (and his first name starts with a 'J'), so we put him on the list.
Even though he's not always involved in projects, he's the pinch hitter for projects that involve the political realm, lawyers or other such areas that are terrifying. (Well, they're not really scary, he's just better at it.)
Jason has spent the majority of his career working in the political sector in both day-to-day operations and marketing for campaigns. He's the one we call on for logos, vector artwork and branding.
Basically, he's just really talented in a lot of areas so we keep him around.
abracadabra!
Well, it's not really magic, but it feels like it sometimes.
Either way, here's a sampling of some of the work we do.
Photography
MeekerMedia works with Jes Meeker Photography (since she's one of us and all). Jes specializes in newborn, child and wedding photography. Jump over to her site to see some of her work.
Programming and Development
We have a knack for PHP, jQuery and developing the occasional custom WordPress theme. Many of these projects weren't necessarily our designs, but required our handiwork to make them functional.

Web and Print Design
We love to help a brand emerge from inception (without the dreams) to implementation. Our strong suit is taking a brand or design and executing it across multiple mediums - whether it's online or print.
We created the brand, website design and programming for Jes Meeker Photography - the creative photo side of MeekerMedia.
MeekerMedia created the brand, website design, programming and other promotional materials for GROW - a mid-week class at The Gathering church in Sevierville, TN.

Physical Design
We're not just all about computers and technology; we're also pretty good when it comes to sculpture, painting, set designs, pottery and other forms of artwork.
Not only did MeekerMedia oversee production for their main "Windows of opportunity" fundraiser launch, we also designed and fabricated a custom, portable set design for them to take on the road.

This is how we do it.
It's Friday night (just kidd'n).
Seriously though, there's a method to our madness.
Step 1:
Contact Us.
Do you need a website? Some design work? A painting? Maybe a giraffe made out of pipe cleaners? Whatever it is, we want to hear about it and why it's important to you.
You're probably asking "Why don't you just post blanket prices?" Well, we think your project is better than that.
We want to take the time to get to know you, your project and build a quote based on reality. "One size fits all" is a great concept when it comes to hats, but not for design.
Step 2:
Lets Meet.
Once we hear from you, we'll set up a time to meet. It could be in person, over the phone, Skype or whatever flavor of technology you prefer.
We'll have a few general questions and talk about your project. We'll then develop a project scope – which is fancy lingo for what you want done and what we'll need to do to make it happen.
Once we feel we have a good understanding of your project we'll put together some timelines and a detailed quote that's unique to your project.
Step 3:
Shazam!
Here's where the magic begins.
Once everything is approved and ready to go, we kick it into high gear.
We make sure we keep you in the loop every step of the way during the design and development process of your project.
Unlike many page-mills or production firms that just crank out project after project, we make sure we keep a small reserve of clients at any given time in order that we can give your project the unique creativity it deserves.
